There are two ways to understand this quote. One is Hindu. The other is Christian. For the Hindu understanding Bliss is life with Vishnu. In Hinduism ignorance leads to life with Vishnu, or Shakti. Ignorance is not frowned on because life is led in a path that is ever non-changing. Ignorance, brutality, death, neither deny bliss. For the Christian view, there is an opposition between ignorance and bliss. Ignorance prevents bliss. Christians convert from ignorance to bliss. In a Christian world view an ignorant person can never be a blissful person. This blog is written from a Christian point of view. The blog denies the brutality of ignorance. Comments?
