The Archaic Nature of the U.S. Constitution

Recent history records the lessening influence of American democracy in Europe. Most notably the rejection of U.S. foreign policy by Poland before the era of the war between Russian and Ukraine which saw Poland accept more than 3 million refugees from Ukraine and more importantly the turn of western Europe away from U.S. style democracy to an adoption of socialism. Notable for European democracy are Germany and Great Britain. In the U.S. the challenges to our constitutional federalism are many.

The most significant challenge is the inability of lawmakers to halt mass shootings. This problem is generally seen as a lack of effectiveness for the bill of rights to correctly mandate gun ownership and the inability of state governments to administer the people’s right to form militias. Significantly, as a country, the U.S. suffers from the war on political freedom as written in the Bill of Rights. Both churches and immigrant groups have been able to redefine political freedom to the extent that it is merely as tool of the people to redefine society. Outside of this the main pillar of government, the separation of church and state, is more of a battleground between the Christian right and the Woke left to the extent that citizens feel the loss not only of their public spaces, and their workplace, but experience a real threat to their homes.

The theory of Against Ignorance is that there is a solution to the problem of the erosion of guaranteed Constitutional principles. According to the theory of Against Ignorance, Constitutional reform can and should be conducted in the light both of God, and of reason. the result, from this method leads to two conclusions. The first conclusion is the recognition of the archaic nature of the document, The United States Constitution. The second conclusion is the government project to rewrite the U.S. Constitution as a document that is unequivocal with regard to the establishment of the three branches of government, and as a document that is subject to much less interpretation for the application of the laws, rules and regulations that practically govern American people.

Against Ignorance proposes a superstructure for such a project. This method does not imply a Constitutional document satisfactory to any party. I argue for a light that can reveal solutions debated and argued for according to the existing constitutional framework. Against Ignorance is the argument for the application of light, both from God and from reason and not the ignorance that can and does guide men and women in their darkness. Applied, the Against Ignorance method is an argument from revealed conclusions to sound results. Against Ignorance is precisely the method to reveal the conclusions which conclusions government can then concretize.

What does it mean to state the U.S. Constitution is archaic and no longer effectively governs the American people? What does it mean that groups of citizens, and non-citizens, have reinterpreted the U.S. Constitution as a means to promote agendas that benefit foreign principalities? This essay seeks to explain these points in detail.
