What Against Ignorance Means

Simply put, ignorance leads us to make wrong decisions.

Ignorance is the ignorance of sin which we all suffer from. This ignorance leads people to believe they are right in making decisions which they are in fact led to support. It is not wrong to be led in believing, praying, and making decisions. However, it is wrong when the result is less than satisfactory, and our decisions lead us into evil behaviors. Evil behaviors not only affect our personal life. They prevent us from achieving the goals we set out to accomplish. Contrary to this is our ability to be led in the light. This means the light of Christ. Our sense of light, or understanding, is entirely separate from our faith. It is a part of our sense of justice which helps us make decisions that are beneficial and not harmful. It is correct that decisions we make lead us into suffering. It is also correct that our suffering leads us to losses that we regret. However, as people, we know that what we suffer leads us to rewards. Suffering our way is far different from committing acts of evil.

There is a simple method for being against ignorance which this blog will describe in detail.

The method does not lead to poverty or celebrate want. It is not a description of a simple life. It is useful for and leads to greatness, to wealth or a religious sensibility if that is what a person desires. The separation of light from darkness and being led by light, not only for a person’s inner experience, but for their interaction with worldly affairs allows people and societies to progress. Our entire civilization, and all worldly civilizations, have undertaken a program to defeat what is darkest both within us, and out in the world. This program began as the advance of personal interactions in our dark ages, then the advance of religion during the ages of society and is now the advance of science as we approach the end of time.

It is not wrong to say that Against Ignorance describes a method that can solve every single problem for people, families, and communities. The question is to examine specific examples in order to see this method in action and to apply it to our personal lives.

What is this method? Simply put, it is the application, specifically, of the victory of light over darkness. How is this method applied in our personal lives? What does it mean that the victory of light over darkness solves all of our personal problems with regard to our duty to ourselves, our families, and our communities?
